WUGGLE PETS KIT

Got this for the nieces who quite enjoy making their own little personalized dolls at home and, to be honest, I'm an adult and still find the Wuggles charming.

A few notes:
-- the Wuggles (available for under $8 at Walmart and online) can be filled without investing in the machine itself. The individual doll kits come with stuffing that can easily be added manually if you want to save money
-- they're not huge (about 7 inches) which means that they're fun to create and play with but they don't stand in for full-sized teddy bears or other dolls at bedtime
-- on a more creative note: they can be converted easily into dream pillows/comfort toys by adding dried flowers/herbs in with or instead of the stuffing (my Clever Raccoon is stuffed with lavender and rosemary and sits on my nightstand making my room smell nice for when I'm ready to climb into bed) ... the little ones can pick their own dried flowers (or for that matter their favorite pictures, shiny...Read more

I purchased two sets of Wuggle Pets for 4 year old girls for Christmas, and my 7 year old daughter also received a set from a relative. While all three girls loved them, the fun only lasted 5 minutes for the 7 year old. She stuffed it, zipped it up, filled out the birth certificate, and promptly moved on to a different activity. Fun, but certainly not $20 worth of fun. The little girls, on the other hand (who were less adept at this whole process), spent over an hour stuffing and unstuffing, zipping and unzipping. The next day I saw one of the little girls and she had one of the pets clipped to her backpack (I think she was carrying the backpack for the sole reason that she could clip the Wuggle to it), so I guess she was still enjoying it. Overall, it's a cheaply made, overpriced toy but little girls really do love them. I agree with a previous reviewer that for $20 or less you could get a larger, higher quality stuffed animal at Build-A-Bear; but kids want what they want. So...Read more

We ordered the 8 pack of Wuggle Pets, 3 came in the box. Called Customer Service and we were told we need to send the whole package back (at our cost) to exchange the package for a new one. They couldn't just send the 5 missing. Also, the package that was delivered seemed to just have the items thrown in a box and what seemed to be juice spilled all over them. Pathetic.
