...It's a back pack. An animal backpack. Only difference between this one and most animal backpacks is that it actually has room in it. The body is limp because they did not stuff it, just the head and limbs are, which leaves room to actually put stuff in it.
It's very, very cute and everything looks pretty well made except for the straps. They are typical thin nylon straps. But, unless you are absolutely violent with this backpack, it should last you a pretty long time.
Also, it's not 12 inches exactly, it's about 13 inches. So it is definitely bigger than described.
I recommend for kids and adults!

Awesomely cute and durable bag.
Decent size to hold a few things but definitely not big enough for school or anything of the such.
More like a large size purse than bag or backpack.
Niece loves it.

Lovely, fuzzy, and adorable! It looks very nice, and it has an average sized pocket for a backpack like this. It can easily hold a phone, wallet, and a few other things. I love it!
