Butterfly Puppet

My son has been fascinated with butterflies and after MANY purchases of other butterflies (including the Folkmanis butterfly finger puppet), they all fell apart or looked very "disfigured" after a few days of play. This is large, very well-constructed and an overall great puppet/toy. We are now on to growing real caterpillars into butterflies... and this product is still around and his favorite. Recommend this highly !!

This is a really good puppet! I am an average sized woman, and my hand fits in it, but it only comes down to my wrist. I don't think there is a better way to make a butterfly puppet, not much on a butterfly to use to camouflage your arm. If you flip your hand over and put it on with your palm against the back of the butterfly, you can make it look like it is flying. The wings are made out of a satin-like material with something to add stiffness in between the layers. The colors are beautiful! It is not nearly as fragile as it looks in the pictures.

Overall, this is another great puppet by Folkmais. I am very pleased with my purchase. I bought this item for my Church VBS and everyone I have showed it to loves it!! I recommend it!

The photo shows a puppet larger than an adult human hand. What I received is smaller than half an adult hand and is intended for your fingers. Doesn't have legs or antenna as shown in photo. Will be returning it.
