TO PLAY ONLINE YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE WEBKINZ ACCOUNT (this IS NOT a webkinz, simply an add on, it won't extend your account for another year but it can be played with in your room like a normal pet) Please note you need to download a 3d software play which if you don't have it there will be a link from mazin hamsters to a site with the necessary software.
Each mazin hamster comes with a feature code that you can type in at the code shop where you will be then prompted to choose the gender and name your hamster. After that you can got to mazin hamsters and build mazes for other hamster owners to play in, run through "Programmer Built" mazes against the clock or find flags and dig up treasure in challenge mazes. My daughter wanted this hamster so she could access the mazes online. She loves the hamster and really enjoys playing the games online.

Webkinz are great toys in general. The website is appropriate and fun for the kids and the stuffed animals are favorites at our house. The slight disappointment here is that the hamsters are considered "feature code" items and not webkinz pets. They cost as much, and need care in webkinz world, just like other pets. My daughter was very disappointed at Christmas when she thought this pet would renew her webkinz account and found out it wouldn't. She ended up buying another pet with her own money to make sure she didn't lose the account. If you are looking to extend an account by purchasing a pet, this is not the way to go.
