My little girl has a giant lion pillow that sleeps in her bed. She always wanted to take it everywhere. She already had the beanie tiger like this lion and she loved him. So, I got her the lion in hopes that she wouldn't try to drag the giant lion around anymore. It worked. He has made several trips to the zoo with us. This lion isn't the size of a tiny beanie baby. It is more the size of a small stuffed animal or a small cabbage patch baby.

I think Ty should continue making classic series like Nici does,
so that collectors would not be able to hike up the price.
It's been 8 years since I bought this.
So cute that my wife and I still fight over it!!

This is the second Ty lion I have purchased for my son. He loves it so much, that I had to get a replacement in case he "loves" the first one too much!
