Angry Birds 8" Plush Black Bird with Sound

I purchased this "bomb bird" for my 6 yr old who loves Angry Birds. He was so excited when it came and loved the 3 different sounds it made. However, within 2 weeks, the sounds stopped working! I figured I could try and change the batteries. I had to cut open the bird, on the top seam, to get to the sound unit. Once inside, I noticed that the tiny wires that were supposed to be attached to the sound unit were no longer attached. There is no way to fix it. They are simply too small. So, I spend $10 in new tiny batteries only to find out this sound unit was not fixable. I sewed the bird back up and now he has a plush toy, with no sound. I would never had paid for a bird "with sound" had I known it would only last 2 weeks! I have tried emailing the manufacturer, "Commonwealth Toys" for a new sound unit. No response. Typical plush toy with "button" activated sounds. If you like black angry birds, it looks almost exactly like the ones in the game. The sounds are generic ones from the game, not particular to the black birds. As an Angry Birds fanatic with a preference for the black birds, my son absolutely loves it.

I had the 5" version and sound battery was dead after 1 day. With this one? 3 days. Sound is cool feature, and it WILL NOT LAST. Why not give me chance to change battery? No luck. Horrible. Son loves this toy and upset again with cheap battery.
I gave it 2 stars because he likes the toy with sound, otherwise it is garbage.
