Works well BUT...,

This harness works well. It's not too large when using as a back bag but it does sufficiently restrain a small child (mine is under 40 pounds), and the horse is CUTE.
That being said, the only "flaw" I can find are the buckles are in the front and my child can easily remove them. Luckily this doesn't happen often but it's super easy for her to do.
Overall, I would buy this again.

1.5 year old daughter loves horses therefore buying this was a no brainer. she likes to wear it too, thinks she is pretty hot stuff. like to take this when in a crowd. make me and her feel safer.

I bought this for my 16 month old granddaughter and it is fantastic..we can safely let her walk around in crowds and know she is safe...it is adorable and very comfortable for the child and gives her the freedom she wants at this age and gives us the satisfaction of knowing she is safe at all times...don't know how we managed without it.
